 125 Years of Wombourne Methodist Church

Thje concert on 8th June and The Ashmore Singers were both wondrful events. The scarecrow festival even more so. It was wonderful to have so many groups bring scarecrows. The worship after the scarecrow festival was greatly enhanced by the desplays. 19th October will see a craft and exhibition day with Jacket potato lunch. The Ladies day service on Sunday 20th October will be led by Revd. Rachel Parkinson, the chair of the District. More dates to follow…..

Community Garden

Our new garden is now open and we invite you all to come and take a look. Thanks to Pauline Hotchkiss who was the driving force for this project.

Books for Kenya

Friends of Kenya’s children organiser Sandra Noon had appealed for books suitable for senior-school age pupils. All donations will be taken to Kenya when she visits in October.

Oberammergua Passion Play 5th to 12th June 2020

 Wombourne Carnival 2018

For the first time Wombourne Methodist Church children entered a float with Blakeley School and also the Scouts. It was a great success mainly due to the hard work of Amanda Slater.
